What is Jadeite 翡翠?

Jadeite 翡翠 is the term used to differentiate the high-quality jade 玉 suitable for use in jewellery from the lower quality jade used in larger decorative pieces.

Jadeite, is the rarer, more valuable form of jade. Jadeite is one of the two mineral species that can be classified as jade: the other is nephrite 和田玉, a much more common and less valuable mineral.

According to Chinese culture, if your soul feels like it needs a little healing, you should reach for some jade. This brilliant gemstone holds a lot of cultural weight: said to bring its wearer happiness, health and good fortune, jade also used to be used as a symbol of class and wealth, for good reason.

We ONLY showcase natural TYPE A Burmese jade that is not dyed in colour or chemically treated to enhance its appearance. If you’re looking for a piece to invest in or as an heirloom, only Type A Jade hold its value and appreciates as time goes by.

All of our fine jade are handpicked personally and we only choose Myanmar Jade.

The prices of jade have increased more than 10 times over the past 20 year. The demand is only getting stronger brought on by increasing buying power from the large mainland Chinese population, but supply-wise, the Burmese jade mountains are diminishing.
